A practice in chapters
Each series is allowed its own atmosphere. What holds them together is a living chronology, not a fixed visual formula.
ClosenessБлизостьAbout the practice
A living practice, structured in chapters.
Svetlana Ryazhkina is a contemporary painter based in Chelyabinsk, in the South Urals.
Her practice moves through independent bodies of work with distinct visual languages. The archive follows that movement: each chapter keeps its own rhythm while remaining part of one unfolding artistic path.
