About this work

This work holds the feeling of a southern midday: a time when light softens everything unnecessary and leaves only a state of being.

The figure feels calm and assured, with freedom, dignity and ease, without ostentation.

It is a painting about the beauty of presence: simply being, unhurried and true to oneself.
